Art Quilters as Story Tellers
Artist Reception: April 20, 2010 7-9pm
Gallery Talk: April 20, 2010 8pm
Exhibition Runs: March 29th - May 28

Writers use words to tell stories, composers use notes and painters use paints. Art Quilters use a variety of textiles. In this exhibit, six contemporary fiber artists tell their stories with their own discrete collections and written narratives.
The fiber artists and their collections include:
Cynthia Catlin - "Continuing the Legacy"
Joanell Connolly - "MI SUMC MAMA"
Rose Hughes - "Travels of an Itinerant Quilter"
Jeanette I. Kelly - "Tell it again..."
Cindy Rinne - "Visual Journal"
Terry Waldron - "Inspiration"
